Taliban Government Lacks Public Support, Afghan Envoy Raises Concerns at UN
Kabul (Monitoring Desk) It is being said regarding the Taliban government that neither the international community nor the Afghan public is fully ready to recognize it.
According to media reports, Afghanistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Naseer Ahmad Andesha, has raised questions over the recent actions of the Taliban government.
The Afghan ambassador and representative to the United Nations, Naseer Ahmad Andesha, said that Taliban orders should not be seen as representing Afghanistan’s official laws or the will and opinion of the people.
He stated that the Afghan people do not support the decisions of the Taliban government and that these policies do not reflect public aspirations.
According to Naseer Ahmad Andesha, the Afghan people are not only dissatisfied with Taliban policies but in some areas open protests are also being held against them.
