Pakistan’s Diplomatic Successes Establish New Global Identity, US Media Analysis

Washington (Monitoring Desk) Pakistan’s recent defense achievements and its effective mediation in reducing tensions between Iran and the United States have helped establish a new diplomatic identity for the country on the global stage.

According to a report by US media outlet Fox News, India is trying to improve its relations with Washington, while Pakistan has already strengthened its diplomatic significance.

The report said that on the sidelines of the G7 Summit, the meeting between the US President and the Indian Prime Minister was limited to a formal handshake instead of the usual warmth, indicating visible signs of tension between the two countries.

According to the analysis, India had spent years trying to isolate Pakistan internationally, but now Pakistan is being seen as an important diplomatic actor at both regional and global levels.

Indian journalist Surender Sagar stated that some Indian analysts believe the international community is now looking more towards Pakistan than India in matters of peace, which is being described as a diplomatic failure of the Modi government.
