Rawalpindi (Turkey News): According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, Secretary General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir of the Pakistan Army.
A 17-member IMCTC delegation is visiting Pakistan from February 2 to 6 for a week-long training at the National University of Sciences and Technology on reintegration and rehabilitation of extremist elements.
During the meeting, both sides discussed issues of mutual interest, particularly emphasizing enhanced cooperation in regional security and counter-terrorism. They reiterated their joint commitment to combating terrorism and extremism through collaboration, intelligence sharing, and capacity building among member states.
Chief of Defence Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir appreciated IMCTC’s role in promoting stability in the Islamic world and fostering coordinated counter-terrorism efforts.
