Islamabad (Pakistan News): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed officials to continue strict action without exception against mafia networks involved in illegal immigration and to carry out an effective crackdown on professional begging mafias and their supporters.
In a key meeting chaired by the Interior Minister, the performance of the FIA’s Immigration Wing and measures to prevent human smuggling were reviewed. Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that those involved in human trafficking are not entitled to any leniency and that no mistakes will be tolerated in the name of Pakistan.
He also instructed the authorities to strengthen immigration checking systems at airports and to implement strict screening of travel documents. The meeting was attended by the Federal Secretary of Interior, Additional Secretary of Interior, FIA Director-General, and Directors of the Karachi and Lahore zones.
