Washington/Tehran: U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has claimed that the newly appointed Iranian Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, was injured during a U.S. operation. When asked if Khamenei was hurt, Vance responded that they have confirmed he sustained injuries.
U.S. Secretary of Defense Pat Hegseth added that Khamenei’s face was affected and that he has not appeared in public.
Meanwhile, Iranian officials stated that the Supreme Leader suffered minor injuries but continues to perform his duties and remains active in public appearances.
