Trump made this declaration in a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, emphasizing that the level of freedom Iranians are seeking has perhaps never been seen in the past, and the United States is fully prepared to cooperate with them.
The statement comes amid unrest spreading across all 31 provinces of Iran, which has been ongoing since late December last year. Daily protests, slogans, and street demonstrations have become a common sight in multiple cities.
According to US officials, the Trump administration has begun preliminary discussions on potential actions if the situation deteriorates further. Sensitive locations have reportedly been highlighted during these discussions.
