Justice Muneeb Akhtar takes oath as Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan

Islamabad (Turkiyeh News) Justice Muneeb Akhtar has taken oath as the Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan. The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Supreme Court Karachi Registry, where Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui administered the oath of the office of Acting Chief Justice to Justice Muneeb Akhtar.

The ceremony was attended by judges of the Supreme Court and Federal Constitutional Court, along with other senior judicial officials. Justice Muneeb Akhtar will perform the duties of Acting Chief Justice during the absence of Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi, who is currently abroad.
