Azerbaijan Parliament Session, 2026 Budget Approved

Azerbaijan (Turkiye Khabar) A regular session of Azerbaijan’s National Assembly was held on June 19, during which several important matters were reviewed.

Speaker Sahiba Gafarova confirmed that 14 agenda items were included in the session, the most important of which was related to the implementation report of the 2026 state budget.

Members of the government, the leadership of the audit institution, and other senior officials also attended the session.

During the discussion on the report, various parliamentary leaders and members expressed their views, after which the bill was approved in the second stage.

The Speaker further stated that the next agenda items included amendments to the customs code and other legislative matters, which were considered in the third stage.
