Turkey (Turkiya News): A massive demonstration took place in Turkey with the participation of over 400 civil society organizations, led by the Turkish Youth Foundation (TUGVA). Around 520,000 citizens attended the march, which carried the slogan: “We will not bow, we will not remain silent, we will not forget Palestine.”
Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ilm Yayma Foundation and a member of TUGVA’s Supreme Advisory Council, addressed the rally, saying that the Turkish nation began the new year with prayers for Palestine. He highlighted that gathering in mosques, offering collective prayers, and raising voices for the oppressed on the first day of the year demonstrates the moral and spiritual strength of the Turkish people.
Bilal Erdoğan stated, “We pray for the oppressed people of Palestine, remember our martyrs, and hope that 2026 brings blessings for both the Turkish nation and the Palestinian people.” He expressed joy that participation in this annual gathering continues to grow, reflecting strong shared values and unity within society.
In conclusion, he prayed for Allah to grant freedom to the Palestinian people, liberation for Jerusalem, and for the Turkish nation to have the honor of standing firm in this cause.
