Yalova, Turkey (Turkiya News): Security sources report that a counter-terrorism operation targeting the ISIS terrorist group is underway in Turkey’s northwestern province of Yalova.
According to sources, police launched the operation at a house located on the road leading to Elmalak village near the city center, which led to a clash with the terrorists. Seven police officers were injured during the encounter.
Strict security measures have been implemented in the area, and special operation units from the nearby province of Bursa have been dispatched to assist in the operation.
Authorities stated that the injured officers were taken to a hospital, where their condition is reported to be stable. Security forces continue to conduct search operations in the area to apprehend the remaining terrorists and restore peace.
