Washington (Monitoring Desk): Reports reveal that the United States employed a massive quantity of advanced and expensive weaponry during the initial days of the ongoing conflict with Iran.
According to the Washington Post, the Pentagon used approximately $5.6 billion worth of arms and ammunition in just the first two days. The report indicates that the US military deployed a significant amount of advanced weaponry in a very short period.
This rapid use of high-tech and limited-stock weapons has raised concerns among some members of the US Congress. Earlier, President Donald Trump had claimed that the US possesses an unlimited reserve of key military weapons.
Meanwhile, the US military’s command center CENTCOM stated that so far 5,000 targets in Iran have been hit, and 50 Iranian warplanes have been destroyed or damaged during the attacks.
