Baku (Turkiya News): Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedow awarded Azerbaijani Ambassador Qasymet Gozalov with honorary distinctions. According to a decree signed by President Berdimuhamedow, Ambassador Gozalov received the Jubilee Medal in recognition of Turkmenistan’s years of neutrality and the commemorative silver badge “Years of Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan.”
These awards were formally presented to Ambassador Gozalov in December at a conference in Ashgabat titled “Year of International Peace and Trust: Committed Actions of Neutral Turkmenistan” by Turkmenistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov.
The honorary ceremony aimed to strengthen trust in international relations and acknowledge Turkmenistan’s long-term commitment to neutrality.
