Baku (Turkey News Desk)Azerbaijan Transport Intelligence Management Center has once again appealed to pedestrians to strictly follow traffic rules in order to prevent road accidents.
In an official statement, the department said that ignoring traffic signals at signal-controlled pedestrian crossings can lead to accidents, and many such incidents occur because pedestrians fail to follow established rules.
The statement clearly said that crossing the road when the pedestrian signal shows a red light is extremely dangerous and should be avoided. Roads should only be crossed when the green signal is on and drivers have fully given way.
The authority warned that failure to follow these instructions increases the risk of accidents and may also lead to loss of life.
