Baku (Turkey News Desk)Parviz Shahbazov met with British Ambassador Fergus Auld on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic tenure.
During the meeting, the Minister of Energy praised the British ambassador’s services, saying that during his tenure bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the energy sector, had further strengthened.
Both sides reviewed progress in oil and gas projects as well as joint initiatives in renewable energy, while also agreeing to expand cooperation under the “Green Energy Corridor” framework.
The two sides expressed satisfaction over the long-term energy partnership between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom.
They also discussed preparations for the upcoming meeting of the joint intergovernmental economic commission, which will be held in Baku, and the British side was invited to participate in the upcoming “Baku Energy Week.”
