Türkiye Committed to Protecting Human Values and Regional Peace: President Erdogan

Istanbul (Turkiye Khabar) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that his country will continue its efforts to protect human values in the face of atrocities against civilians in Gaza Strip and Lebanon, as well as what he described as “networks of massacres.”

Addressing the military exercise “EFES 2026” held in Izmir, he said the world is currently going through a period where global security principles are changing and international law is losing its effectiveness.

He stated that the global system is rapidly moving away from a unipolar structure toward a multipolar order based on multiple powers, where new alliances and balances are being formed.

According to President Erdogan, Türkiye is striving to play an important and effective role in this transformation and is gaining a central position for peace and stability in the region.

He further said that Türkiye is committed to modernizing and strengthening its armed forces to ensure peace and security in this challenging geography.

President Erdogan emphasized that Türkiye will stand against forces promoting war and instability and will continue contributing to global peace and stability.
