Istanbul (Turkiye Khabar) According to sources in the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a total of 422 participants of the Global Sumud Flotilla have been released from Israel’s Ramon Airport and are en route to Türkiye.
The sources said that among them are 85 Turkish citizens, who are being brought back via special flights.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the evacuation process is being carried out under the supervision of the Turkish embassy, while all individuals previously held by Israeli forces were transferred to the airport in Tel Aviv under the supervision of Turkish diplomatic officials.
Authorities stated that the operation was made possible through full diplomatic coordination and joint efforts, and all participants are being safely returned to their home countries.
