Istanbul (Turkiye Khabar): The head of Türkiye’s defense industry has said that Türkiye is no longer just a country known for its defense products, but has transformed into a strong defense industrial system with which international partners want to cooperate and engage in joint production.
In an interview with Anadolu Agency, Türkiye’s Defense Industry Secretary Haluk Görgün said that the recent visit of the Belgian economic mission to Türkiye reflects the outcome of years of mutual trust, institutional relations, and proven field capabilities.
He said that what is visible today is not the result of a few days of activity, but rather the outcome of continuous engagement, mutual trust, and capabilities tested in real-world conditions.
According to Haluk Görgün, Türkiye has now become a country that is not only evaluated for its products but is recognized as a complete defense industrial ecosystem, with many countries showing interest in partnership and joint production.
