Istanbul (Turkey News ) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with the Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Mathias Cormann, in Istanbul.
According to sources, the meeting was held in a closed-door session in which various economic and educational matters were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Turkey’s Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan and Minister of Education Yusuf Tekin.
The discussions focused on increasing cooperation in different sectors including economic collaboration, employment opportunities, and educational policies.
According to diplomatic sources, such engagements are considered important for policy coordination and the promotion of economic development between Turkey and the OECD.
