Istanbul (Turkiye News): Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has held important diplomatic contacts regarding ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran.
According to Turkish diplomatic sources, he held separate telephone conversations with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani as well as with US negotiators.
The discussions focused in detail on the latest developments in the diplomatic process between Washington and Tehran.
Sources said the Turkish foreign minister expressed hope that the talks would soon reach a positive conclusion and reaffirmed that Ankara will continue to support all efforts aimed at achieving an agreement.
He further stated that Turkey will maintain its constructive role in the process to help reduce differences between the parties and work toward a sustainable solution.
