Istanbul (Turkiye News): Turkish Airlines has once again achieved major recognition in the European airline industry for its outstanding catering service, winning a prestigious award for the fifth time.
The airline received the “Best Food and Beverage Execution” award from the Airline Passenger Experience Association. The ceremony was held in Dublin, Ireland.
According to reports, this year’s awards were based on verified and anonymous passenger feedback, collected with the help of the travel planning app “Trip It.”
More than one million flights worldwide were evaluated, covering over 600 airlines. Passengers rated their experiences across five categories, including seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverages, in-flight entertainment, and Wi-Fi services.
The CEO of Turkish Airlines described the achievement as the result of the team’s hard work, dedication, and professionalism, while also appreciating passengers’ trust and staff efforts.
The airline group’s CEO further said that Turkish Airlines’ in-flight catering reflects the best example of Türkiye’s culture and hospitality.
According to the airline, its catering system is based on a diverse global menu and continuously improving dining experience, serving passengers across routes spanning 130 countries.
