Istanbul (Turkey News) A City Economies Summit to be held in Gaziantep will focus on the restoration of economic cooperation, trade, and industrial ties between Turkey and Syria.
The conference is being organized in collaboration with Anadolu Agency and Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, and will review economic relations between Gaziantep and Aleppo, as well as the prospects for regional economic integration.
The summit is scheduled for June 9 at the Mavera Congress and Art Center of Gaziantep University, where business representatives from both Turkey and Syria will participate.
The event will also feature speeches by Turkey’s Minister of Trade and Syria’s Minister of Economy and Industry, who will discuss trade and investment opportunities between the two countries.
According to organizers, the aim of the meeting is to promote economic cooperation in the region and develop a joint strategy for rebuilding the devastated economic infrastructure.
