Istanbul (Turkiye News) The Chairman of the Turkish Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee and his delegation met Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, where detailed discussions were held on the regional situation and bilateral relations.
According to Turkish official Fuat Oktay, the meeting took place at Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and included discussions on key regional issues such as the situation in Palestine, tensions related to Iran, Israeli attacks on Lebanon, and the current situation in Syria.
Both sides agreed that practical measures and joint initiatives for regional stability should be accelerated. Special emphasis was placed on prioritizing investment in the transport sector and connectivity projects.
The talks also focused on expanding economic relations and increasing investment opportunities between Turkey and Jordan.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening relations through parliamentary diplomacy, stressing that bilateral cooperation is essential for sustainable peace and development in the region.
