Istanbul (Turkiye News) – A telephone conversation took place between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which bilateral relations and regional issues were discussed.
According to Turkey’s Directorate of Communications, President Erdoğan said that the process of normalizing relations between Ankara and Yerevan is ongoing, and steps are being taken to initiate direct trade ties between the two countries.
On the occasion, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also extended his good wishes to President Erdoğan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
President Erdoğan stated that Turkey is working for peace and stability in its region and will continue to support all positive steps taken toward this goal.
