Ankara (Turkiye News) – President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a meeting in Ankara with the Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, where detailed discussions were held on bilateral relations and regional affairs.
According to Turkey’s Directorate of Communications, President Erdoğan said that Ankara continues its efforts to help end the ongoing bloodshed in Sudan.
He further stated that Turkey and Sudan are working to strengthen cooperation in various sectors, particularly trade, agriculture, energy, and defense, through practical and concrete steps.
During the meeting, both leaders also reviewed the regional situation and explored new avenues of cooperation, agreeing to further strengthen bilateral relations going forward.
