Ankara (Turkiye News) – President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a meeting in Ankara with the Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.
According to Turkish state media, President Erdoğan warmly received the distinguished guest before the meeting and also extended Eid al-Adha greetings to him.
The report said that prior to the formal talks, both leaders exchanged cordial remarks and discussed bilateral relations as well as the regional situation.
The meeting was also attended by the head of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization National Intelligence Organization (Turkey), Ibrahim Kalin.
During the discussions, both sides reviewed bilateral relations between Turkey and Sudan, prospects for cooperation, and efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.
