Islamabad (Turkey News) — In response to Afghan Taliban aggression, the Pakistan Armed Forces carried out effective operations in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Sixteen ground attacks and 25 “fire raid” attempts in Qilla Saifullah, Nushki, and Chaman were successfully repelled. Twenty-seven Taliban fighters were killed and several others injured. One FC Balochistan North soldier was martyred while defending the homeland, and five others were wounded.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, operations at 12 fire-raid locations killed 40 Taliban militants and foiled a ground assault. The Pakistan Air Force destroyed ammunition depots and drone storage in Nangarhar and targeted the Khogani base.
Under Operation Ghazb al-Lahq, 435 Taliban militants have been killed, 630 injured, 188 check posts destroyed, and 31 captured. Enemy tanks, armored vehicles, and 51 aerial targets have also been effectively neutralized. Follow-up operations are ongoing.
