Muzaffarabad (Turkiye Khabar): A resolution was unanimously passed in the All Parties Conference held in Muzaffarabad, expressing a clear stance in support of the continuity of the democratic process, constitutional order, and state stability.
Political and religious leaders from various parties participated in the meeting and held detailed discussions on the current political situation as well as key public issues.
The participants reaffirmed their full support for the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people in accordance with United Nations resolutions on the Kashmir issue, stating that political, moral, and diplomatic support for the freedom struggle would continue.
The resolution strongly condemned human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the arrest of political activists, and attempts to alter the demographic structure of the region. The participants termed these actions unacceptable and urged the international community to take notice.
The meeting emphasized that democratic continuity and constitutional processes are the foundation of state stability. While political differences were described as the essence of democracy, it was stated that institutional systems must not be allowed to weaken under any circumstances.
The resolution also highlighted the importance of dialogue, tolerance, and peaceful political struggle, while appreciating the role of state institutions and underscoring their significance for national stability.
The participants expressed commitment that future general elections would be held in a free, fair, transparent, and peaceful environment, and that all necessary arrangements would be ensured for this purpose.
