Peshawar (Turkiye Khabar): At the second meeting of disgruntled members of the ruling party, a formal movement was announced for the release of the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). More than twenty members attended the meeting and expressed reservations about the current strategy.
Participants stated that attempts to meet the PTI founder had not been successful due to the lack of an effective and practical plan. According to them, the Chief Minister and other elected representatives waited outside the jail on several occasions, but no progress was made.
The disgruntled members maintained that the campaign being run by the party appeared disorganized, which failed to convey a sense of seriousness.
The meeting also discussed the upcoming fiscal year's budget. The members appreciated the stance taken by Aliya Hamza and demanded that the budget should not be presented in the assembly until the Chief Minister and the PTI founder’s family are allowed to meet him.
