Islamabad (Turkiye Khabar): A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Hajj flight scheduled for return from Jeddah to Karachi was once again delayed due to a technical fault.
According to details, the aircraft was ready for departure at Jeddah airport when a sudden technical issue occurred, after which it was moved back from the ramp. Due to the situation, pilgrims waiting for their return to the country faced severe inconvenience.
The Hajj flight was originally scheduled to depart for Karachi in the morning, but even after several hours it could not take off. Passengers were temporarily shifted to the lounge while engineers were called on-site to resolve the issue.
A PIA spokesperson said that the flight will depart immediately once the technical fault is fixed. He expressed regret and apologized for the difficulties faced by the pilgrims, adding that the management and engineering teams are continuously working to resolve the problem.
