Ankara (Turkey News) Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will meet British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper during his visit to the United Kingdom in London.
According to diplomatic sources, the meeting is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. local time.
Sources further said that after this meeting, a framework document regarding strategic partnership between Türkiye and the United Kingdom is expected to be signed, which is likely to give a new direction to cooperation between the two countries.
During the visit, the Turkish foreign minister will also meet members of the British Parliament, while separate meetings with Turkish citizens and business figures residing in London are also included in his schedule.
According to experts, this development is being seen as an important step toward further strengthening political, economic, and diplomatic relations between Türkiye and the United Kingdom.
