Stop Attempts to Change Iran’s Government or Risk World War III: Medvedev

Moscow (Monitoring Desk) — Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council and former President Dmitry Medvedev has warned that if U.S. President Donald Trump does not halt efforts to change Iran’s government, it could inevitably trigger a third world war.

In an interview, Medvedev said that while Iran can withstand U.S. and Israeli attacks, these actions have further united the Iranian nation. He added that Iran will now pursue nuclear weapons with double the energy.

Medvedev described the conflict as an attempt by the U.S. and its allies to maintain global supremacy, putting the citizens of both countries at risk. He further warned that if Trump continues down a reckless path, any incident could spark World War III.

The former president also criticized European leaders as “extremely foolish,” stating that the cost of a nuclear conflict would be enormous, likening it to the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, with catastrophic consequences far beyond a child’s game.
