Geneva (Monitoring Desk) — Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and international organizations in Geneva, Mikhail Ulyanov, has issued an important statement regarding the ongoing ceasefire talks between Iran and the United States.
He said that in the current situation, Iran’s position appears to be closer to reality, while the United States is exaggerating progress in the negotiations.
According to Mikhail Ulyanov, Iran’s assessment is more aligned with ground realities, whereas Washington’s statements at this stage appear less responsible.
The Russian envoy’s remarks are being seen as a significant development in the context of ongoing tense negotiations between Iran and the United States, where differences remain over ceasefire terms, uranium enrichment, and regional security issues.
