Washington (Monitoring Desk) — Social media accounts linked to Iranian embassies around the world have intensified a wave of sarcastic posts targeting former US President Donald Trump.
An account of the Iranian Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, shared an image depicting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu seemingly sitting inside Trump’s mind. The post was presented as a symbolic reference to alleged Israeli influence on US policy-making.
Similarly, the Iranian Embassy in Russia posted a video juxtaposing scenes of Trump in wrestling matches with footage related to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s surgical background, in a comparative and symbolic narrative style.
These posts are being viewed in the context of rising tensions between Iran and the United States and an ongoing information and narrative battle between the two sides.
