Islamabad (Turkey News): Saudi Arabia has assured Pakistan of oil supply through an alternative route. According to a private TV report, Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik met with Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, during which Pakistan requested the use of the Yanbu Port to establish an alternative oil supply route.
During the meeting, Saudi Arabia pledged full support and cooperation. Ali Pervaiz Malik stated that the security of oil supply via the Red Sea port of Yanbu has been guaranteed, and a vessel will be dispatched to lift crude oil for Pakistan.
The Federal Minister expressed gratitude for Saudi support and hopes that Pakistan will be given priority for supplies through Yanbu Port. Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki said that in any emergency, full cooperation with Pakistan would continue, emphasizing that both countries stand together in times of challenge.
