Turkey (Turkey News) President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in a recent address, emphasized the protection of retirees and their role in national development. He stated that retirees are like the “crown” of the nation and their concerns will not be overlooked.
Erdoğan highlighted the pressures of rising rents and inflation, underlining government initiatives such as the “500,000 Social Housing Initiative” as key measures to address retirees’ issues and provide adequate housing.
Criticizing the opposition, Erdoğan said those who bankrupt municipalities through corruption and waste are only working for show. He urged retirees to maintain trust in the AK Party and the People’s Alliance, assuring that the government will never abandon its senior citizens.
The President further claimed that the opposition exploits young people, using them in protests as a front and abandoning them afterward. He instructed the Ministries of Defense and Justice to launch investigations and assured that any guilty parties will face legal action.
Erdoğan concluded by affirming that the sacrifices made for the country will not go in vain and that the government is committed to turning its vision into reality through continuous efforts.
