Regional diplomatic contacts intensify amid tense situation involving Iran, Türkiye, Pakistan and Gulf countries

Tehran (Monitoring Desk) Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has made telephonic contacts with several senior officials of different countries, including the Turkish Foreign Minister, the Pakistani Field Marshal, as well as the foreign ministers of France and Qatar.

According to Iranian media, these contacts discussed the latest regional situation and Iran’s possible response against Israel.

Foreign media reports suggest that the purpose of these diplomatic engagements is to reduce current tensions and prevent a potential regional crisis.

On the other hand, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also confirmed that a telephone call took place between the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, in which the regional situation and rising tensions were discussed.

Overall, there has been an increase in diplomatic communication among key regional countries, which is being seen as an effort to control the situation and prevent further escalation.
