Russia (Monitoring Desk): Russian President Vladimir Putin has advised US President Donald Trump to bring the ongoing conflict with Iran to an early conclusion.
According to media reports, the two leaders held a telephone conversation discussing the war in Iran and the broader regional situation. Yuri Ushakov, Foreign Policy Advisor to the Kremlin, stated that during the discussion, President Putin offered suggestions to Trump for ending the conflict.
The conversation also covered the Ukraine conflict, the situation in Venezuela, and the global oil market. Earlier, President Putin had remarked that the US and Israel’s war against Iran has contributed to the global energy crisis.
Meanwhile, President Putin sent congratulatory messages to Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei. In his message, Putin emphasized that Iran needs strong leadership in the current circumstances and expressed hope that Mujtaba Khamenei would carry forward his father’s mission with dignity while uniting the Iranian nation during challenging times.
