Islamabad (Turkiye Khabar): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, during which they held detailed discussions on regional and global developments.
During the cordial and friendly conversation, both leaders discussed peace and stability in the region as well as the current situation. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked the Qatari leadership for supporting Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and promoting peace in the region.
The Prime Minister appreciated Qatar’s constructive role in regional diplomacy and its efforts to build consensus for ongoing mediation initiatives, describing them as commendable.
During the discussion, both leaders agreed that continuous communication and close consultation among all relevant parties are essential to address shared challenges.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also conveyed his best wishes to the Amir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and said that he looks forward to his official visit to Pakistan.
At the conclusion of the conversation, both sides also agreed to continue high-level contacts and regular consultations in the future.
