Islamabad (Turkiye Khabar): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, during which they discussed the evolving regional situation and various matters of mutual interest in detail.
Both leaders exchanged views on issues related to promoting peace and stability in the region. On this occasion, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said that Pakistan is making serious and sincere efforts for the establishment of peace and stability in the region.
During the conversation, matters related to the regional consultative forum comprising the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt were also reviewed.
In addition, discussions were held regarding matters linked to the United Nations Security Council and broader global diplomatic developments.
The Egyptian foreign minister also appreciated Pakistan’s humanitarian assistance in facilitating the repatriation of 20 Iranian and 11 Pakistani sailors who had been detained aboard vessels taken into US custody.
At the conclusion of the conversation, both leaders agreed to maintain continuous contact and consultation on regional and global developments, while Badr Abdelatty also reiterated his invitation to Ishaq Dar to visit Egypt.
