Baku (Türkiye News) — President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the inauguration of the new administrative building of the Central Bank.
Central Bank Governor Taleh Kazimov gave the president a detailed briefing on the modern facilities and arrangements provided in the building.
The new building is located on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in the capital Baku and has been constructed in accordance with modern urban planning principles, with high-level technical facilities and functionality in mind.
The president also visited a special exhibition showcasing the design, historical evolution, and security features of the national currency.
According to information, the exhibition highlights the history of the national currency, its development stages, and modern security elements in a well-presented format.
The building consists of 35 floors and includes workspace for 1,300 employees, conference and press halls, training rooms, and meeting facilities.
During its design, special attention was given to accessibility and inclusivity to ensure that persons with disabilities can easily enter and move freely within the building.
The building includes 25 rooms for official meetings, fully equipped with modern facilities.
In addition, it features a rest area for employees, a dining hall for 340 people, and a 240-seat conference hall.
The exterior of the building is equipped with a modern multimedia façade and lighting system capable of displaying various visual effects at night. Energy-saving motion-sensitive LED technology has also been installed to reduce electricity consumption during daylight hours.
