Baku (Türkiye News) — On the occasion of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the 34th meeting of the Council of News Agencies of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held. The meeting was attended by heads and representatives of official news agencies from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan, while representatives of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States were also present.
The meeting held detailed discussions on the use of artificial intelligence, the protection of professional journalistic standards, measures against fake news, and the promotion of cooperation among news agencies.
The participants emphasized that the use of modern technology in news production can improve speed, translation facilities, monitoring of global affairs, and the quality of content.
It was also agreed that cooperation among news agencies in the field of artificial intelligence would be expanded, joint training programs would be developed, and exchanges of experience in automated systems would be enhanced.
