Baku (Türkiye News) President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with a delegation led by Richard Raši, Speaker of the National Council of Slovakia.
According to the Azerbaijani news agency AZƏRTAC, President Ilham Aliyev recalled his official visit to Slovakia last year and described the meetings held during that visit as pleasant memories.
He said that cooperation between the two countries continues to develop in various fields, and stressed the need to further strengthen relations based on mutual respect, friendship, and partnership at the parliamentary level.
President Aliyev also emphasized that Richard Raši’s visit to Azerbaijan with a large delegation is clear evidence of the depth of relations between the two countries.
On the other hand, Richard Raši thanked the President of Azerbaijan for the meeting and said that he felt honored to meet him, adding that he has visited Azerbaijan several times before.
Referring to his 2022 visit to Shusha, he said he intends to visit Karabakh again in the future to observe ongoing reconstruction and development projects, including activities at Karabakh University in Khankendi.
Richard Raši also congratulated President Aliyev on progress in the peace agenda between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
