Baku (Turkey News) As part of preparations for the World Urban Forum (WUF13), a special visit was arranged for media representatives, NGOs, and bloggers, during which they were briefed on the arrangements at the main venue, the Baku Olympic Stadium.
According to the Azerbaijani news agency AZƏRTAC (https://azertag.az?utm_source=chatgpt.com), the visit was organized by the WUF13 Azerbaijan Operating Company and was attended by local and international media representatives, NGOs, and bloggers.
During the visit, participants were given a detailed briefing on the forum’s preparations, facilities, and administrative structure. Several senior government and institutional figures were also present, including Adil Mohammadov, Aygun Aliyeva, Ahmad Ismayilov, and Rashad Majeed.
According to the administration, a total event area of 53 hectares has been set up at the Baku Olympic Stadium and its surroundings, including a central event zone of 43 hectares and 10 hectares allocated for transport, parking, and transfer facilities.
The stadium has been divided into different zones, including dedicated sections for high-level guests, bilateral meeting areas, rest zones, and food and beverage facilities. In addition, a central hall with a capacity of 6,000 people has been prepared for opening and closing ceremonies, while a special 3.55-hectare zone has been allocated for the forum’s main activities, where meetings, thematic sessions, UN activities, and bilateral engagements will be held.
