Islamabad (Turkey News) Pakistan has extended its closure of airspace for India, with the restriction now entering its second year.
According to a fresh Notice to Airmen issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority, Indian-registered, leased, commercial, and military aircraft will not be allowed to enter Pakistani airspace.
The notice states that the ban on Indian flights has been extended by one more month and will now remain in effect until 05:00 AM on 24 May 2026.
It is worth mentioning that Pakistan closed its airspace for Indian aircraft on 23 April 2025, and the restriction has remained continuously in place since then.
Due to this closure, Indian airlines have reportedly suffered significant financial losses, while several international flight routes have also been altered.
