Dushanbe (Turkiye News Desk): A key meeting was held between Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Iran’s Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni, in which detailed discussions were held on further enhancing bilateral border security cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting covered Pakistan-Iran border management, prevention of illegal activities, and the overall situation of peace and stability in the region. Both leaders reiterated their commitment to expanding cooperation in the field of internal security and further strengthening coordination between law enforcement agencies.
On this occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that Pakistan attaches great importance to close relations with Iran for promoting peace, stability, and mutual cooperation in the region. Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni also emphasized the need to further strengthen bilateral security cooperation.
It was agreed in the meeting that both countries will continue contacts and cooperation to address shared challenges and improve the law and order situation in border areas.
