Doha (Monitoring Desk): Qatar-based broadcaster Al Jazeera has reported that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is implementing Israel-style oppressive policies against Muslims, severely affecting civilian life in occupied Kashmir, similar to conditions in Gaza.
The report states that India and Israel share a common ideological vision, viewing Muslims as a security and territorial threat. Leadership of the RSS is influenced by Zionist governance models, and both governments reportedly follow ethnic superiority practices.
According to the Qatari network, the Modi government provided military assistance to Israel during its actions in Gaza and incorporated Israeli surveillance and espionage tools into India’s security infrastructure. In November 2019, the US Consul General in India announced the adoption of a Gaza-style model in occupied Kashmir.
Since 2019, military blockades, checkpoints, raids, and communication shutdowns have continued in Kashmir, severely affecting civil liberties and daily life. Under the “Bulldozer Justice” policy, hundreds of Muslim homes, shops, and places of worship have been demolished without prior notice, which critics describe as extrajudicial punishment.
The report further notes that modern surveillance equipment is being used to monitor dissenters, and the Hindutva ideology portrays minorities as a security threat, deepening societal divisions. Al Jazeera highlighted growing global concern over serious human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
