Modern Technology at ASAN Service Center a Gift from Azerbaijan’s President: Shehbaz Sharif

Islamabad (Turkey News): Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, described the inauguration of the ASAN Service Center in Islamabad on Thursday as a very significant occasion for the public, especially the residents of Islamabad, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, for his unwavering support in bringing the project to fruition.

Addressing the ceremony, the Prime Minister said that establishing the ASAN Service Center would not have been possible without President Aliyev’s strong support, whom he referred to as a “dear brother.” He recalled his visit to an ASAN Service Center in Baku during his official trip last year, describing its performance, innovation, and public service model as highly impressive.

Following that visit, he requested the establishment of a similar center in Islamabad to take the first step toward modernizing public services in Pakistan. “Today we are finally here,” he said, praising the leadership, team, and cooperation involved in ASAN Service.

Shehbaz Sharif further noted that the advanced technology and systems used in the center were gifted by Azerbaijan under the directives of President Ilham Aliyev, reflecting the depth of the brotherly ties between the two countries. He reiterated his deep appreciation for the support and cooperation of the Azerbaijani leadership.

The Prime Minister announced that the center is officially operational from today and expressed hope that, God willing, the ASAN Service model will be expanded to other regions of Pakistan in the future.
