Ankara (Turkiye News): According to reports received from Ankara and Istanbul, Hakan Fidan has made important diplomatic contacts in view of the ongoing conflict situation in the Middle East.
Sources stated that he held telephone conversations with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, and US officials.
According to sources from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, these discussions focused on the ongoing war situation involving Israel and the United States against Iran, as well as possible diplomatic measures to bring it to an end.
While further details of the talks have not been disclosed, sources say that Türkiye continues its diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions in the region.
