Baku: The Baku Forum serves as a broad and influential platform for discussions and debates, also examining various geopolitical developments worldwide. This was stated by Mukhtar Babayev, Azerbaijan’s Presidential Envoy for Environmental Affairs and President of COP29, in a special interview with AzerTAc.
Babayev noted that during a dedicated session for environmental negotiations, presidents of different COP conferences meet in Azerbaijan, working together as a unified team. He added that, in addition to panel discussions, bilateral meetings were held with COP presidents to develop joint strategies for environmental cooperation and sustainable development.
