Baku (Turkiye News): A meeting was held under the chairmanship of President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan to discuss the enhancement of water supply, sewage, and stormwater systems in Baku city and the Absheron Peninsula, in line with the 2026–2035 State Program.
According to AZERTAC, President Aliyev addressed the session, highlighting the importance of modernizing the city’s water and drainage infrastructure.
Following the address, Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev and President of the State Water Resources Agency, Zar Mikailov, provided detailed briefings on the ongoing projects and future plans to improve water supply, sewage management, and stormwater drainage systems.
This initiative is part of Azerbaijan’s broader effort to ensure sustainable urban infrastructure and improve the quality of life for residents.
